Assists With: Evaluating all animals in the shelter’s care and recommending programs and processes for the well-being of the animals. This may include evaluation, socialization, training, and medical.
Building
Assists With: The ongoing operation and improvement of the building and property.
Donor/Fundraising
Assists With: Strategy and planning for donor relations and fundraising.
Finance
Assists With: Drafting an annual budget and improving the financial stability of the organization.
Personnel
Assists With: Setting goals and evaluating the performance of the administrative staff, drafting employee policies and procedures with the Executive Director, and recommending compensation guidelines for the board’s approval.
Volunteer
Assists With: Enhancing and strengthening the volunteer experience at Northwoods Humane Society.
